The food portions were generous and the prices reasonable, with starters around 20 to 30€ and main courses roughly 25 to 40€. We got great advice from the sommelier, and our waiter was perfect. Even though we had a table at Josephine's, they gave us the winstub menu, and they accepted our little whippet dog at the restaurant. The host has kept a wonderfully family-like atmosphere, just like a winstub. The whole team, from reception and room cleaning to the owner, waiter, and sommelier, showed real professionalism and skill. This is a great place for both the hotel and the restaurants, and I agree with most of the feedback.

At lunchtime the deck gets lovely sun, and the staff were welcoming. The setting is cosy, but the meal was a letdown: a ready-made steak tartare for €26.50, buried under a very meagre mayonnaise dressing. Asking for shallot, capers, pickles, Worcestershire sauce or Tabasco wasn't an option. The scant salad was the same one served with the starter. Wine by the glass starts at €9. Unless they make a reasonable effort to serve food that matches the price, this place deserves to be called out.

We were four adults and one child, and the bill came to a reasonable €46 per person, with wine, dessert and coffee included. The servers were very friendly, and the cosy Christmas decorations made the restaurant feel comfortable. The French food was traditional, tasty and nicely presented. There are several set menus: €16 for children, €25 for the daily menu, and options at €36 and €45.

The food was especially good, and the hotel is in a great spot. We booked one of the favourite rooms with dinner included. I'd suggest picking your own wine.
