The chef introduced himself and checked that the meal was what we wanted, and everything was outstanding. I’m vegan, so getting a full lunch was a real treat, especially in Burgundy where that can be a struggle. The restaurant is near the main road, which is handy, but outside it was surprisingly peaceful. The chef also chooses and ages the meat himself, which meat lovers will appreciate.

I often stay here when travelling through France. It’s an American-style motel, so having the car right outside the room is really convenient. The rooms are fairly priced, quiet, and close to the route nationale. Breakfast is good, with fresh croissants, baguette, and what you need to get going. You can also eat at the truck stop across the road, which serves a nice menu for dinner. Breakfast is an option there too, and both places have the same owner. Book directly instead of through a booking platform, it saves you a lot.

The grounds were lovely and well kept, especially for a stay with a dog. We had a family room overlooking the lake, with a very spacious bathroom and the toilet in its own separate area. The beds were wonderful, and we slept really well. There was a nice spot right outside the room to enjoy the evening. We picked up the key at the restaurant across the street. Breakfast was good at €10 per person and got our vacation day off to a perfect start. Thanks for the warm welcome. We’d be happy to stop here again when passing through.
