Quiet little cabin-style rooms, tucked away from the busy areas. It gets dark at night and feels cozy, and the room was clean and comfortable. There’s plenty of kitchenware for cooking, plus two flat burners. A place to shop for food isn’t very far away.

The chalets are clean and comfortable, with a kitchenette inside, and the staff are really friendly and accommodating. It’s a peaceful spot out in the countryside, with wooden chalet-style accommodation. Parking isn’t beside the accommodation, though. You enter through the main car park, and there’s nowhere nearby to eat out, so having transport is better.

The hut is on the small side, so cooking a meal inside could be a bit tricky, though it can be done. If you plan to spend your time out and eat out, that may not bother you. It’s a nice spot for a relaxing break with your partner, right by a lake with a small sandy beach watched over by trained staff, so kids are safe. There’s plenty to do around the lake, including bowling, mini golf and paddling, plus a restaurant and bar.

The receptionists were kind and honest, and they promptly refunded me after I was charged twice for breakfast. For 7€ per person, you can get a breakfast pack, though you have to make your own hot drinks. I stayed with my family for two nights in a double studio. The flat had all the facilities we needed, and the surroundings were very quiet and relaxing. It’s also a great base for visiting northern Normandy. Strongly recommended.

The room was comfortable, and the lake view was great. The activities and amusements around the lake were fun too. ;)
