We had a great time with the Auvergne dishes, especially the pounti and pig's trotters, both were incredible. Even with a huge group there, service stayed pleasant and quick. The charming decor and choice of several rooms make it possible to find somewhere quiet, and there's also a terrace and a large parking lot right next door. I highly recommend it!

The next morning we stopped by again and chatted with the same team over coffee at the bar while they got ready for Sunday lunch. They work hard and clearly care about the quality. Little Uguette, the mischievous dog, also helps guests feel at ease during a meal. Best of luck to Léa, Baptiste, and everyone there. We’ll be back soon! We'd booked for Saturday, February 14, 2026, to try the Valentine's Day menu from innkeepers Baptiste and Léa. Vodable was cold, misty, and foggy when we arrived, about fifteen kilometers from Issoire, and the parking lot was already full. Inside, the tables were set, with a rose for my wife. A succession of delicious amuse-bouches, scallops, foie gras in place of my main course, guinea fowl, and a chocolate dome made each part of the meal a pleasure. We had a wonderful Valentine's Day at the Auberge de la Loue. The menu cost €55, and we also had an aperitif as a starter. Our total came to just under €130, and we don't regret it at all. We left happy with both the food and the service. I wouldn't have believed a place this lovely could be in Vodable if someone had told me. Thanks for making the Vodable name shine!

The truffade, a regional specialty, was a real treat. We came as a family of eight and were welcomed so warmly. The service was impeccable, and the food was truly excellent. Many thanks to the team!

We tried the restaurant for a family meal and would gladly come back. The service was friendly and attentive. I especially loved the braised foie gras with mushroom sauce, and the sweetbreads were excellent. The dishes were all very tasty, beautifully presented, and welcoming. Thank you! 🌞
