The staff were friendly and quick to respond, and the beds were good. But the accommodation felt outdated, despite the website calling it "fully equipped." The site needs updating and a more honest description. There was no soundproofing, and the shower had no door or light. There was no sealant on the ceilings and sometimes on the floor either. The terraces were tiny and very close to the neighbors. The "equipped kitchen" had only the basics, with no kettle or oven, and some dishes needed washing again when we arrived. There was no "welcome kit" with a sponge, toilet paper, dish soap, or dish towel. Sheets are included for stays of LESS THAN 7 nights, which doesn't make much sense. The website photos don't show the current reality either, for instance, there are no longer picnic tables or trees near the pool. Don't count on the basketball or volleyball courts for a proper game. The sand pitch is pretty mediocre, the basketball hoop is at an abnormal height, and camper vans sometimes take up the pitch.

The village of Vorey is lovely and has all the shops you need. The holiday village itself was quiet and clean, and our rental was spotless. We slept very well, enjoyed generous breakfasts, and found the hosts very friendly. Our only complaint was the small garden, which wasn't fenced. Since we brought our dog, we had to keep her on a leash whenever we were outside.

We were five, two adults and three kids aged 8, 10, and 14, in accommodation that sleeps eight. It's a quiet, family-friendly place in a great location, with plenty to do nearby. The pool was well kept and just right for the setting, and the accommodation was spotless with excellent mattresses and good amenities. The toaster was the one exception, but it was replaced in less than a minute. Gregory deserves all the praise. He was always smiling, so pleasant, and took time to help with anything we needed. He even got the barbecue ready so we only had to cook. His way of lighting it with oil and a piece of paper towel was unusual! If there's a problem, Gregory is there. The welcome from the start was warm and friendly too. Céline was just as lovely, always smiling and working tirelessly to help Gregory and handle her role, often going beyond her hours. My children adored her, and so did we. I think one more person on staff would be invaluable, as it must be hard for the two of them to manage everything while keeping to their schedules. We have such fond memories of the place and the staff, and are already planning to return next year. A huge thank you to Gregory and Céline for everything. The cottage for 8 was clean and quiet, and the kids and we all loved the pool. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the whole place had a friendly feel. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed ourselves so much. Thanks to the owners!
