The room was great, and the grounds were stunning. Our host was incredibly nice and attentive, with an amazing breakfast spread ready for us. She’d even put a crib in the room for our little one. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to families.

The pool was wonderful, with great views across the valley. From the guest rooms, you can see the beautiful main building. Our room and bathroom were spacious and very clean, and Anneli gave us such a naturally charming welcome. She clearly loves hosting. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

The location is ideal between Tours and Amboise, and the place is beautiful and quiet. The owner welcomed us very warmly and gave us some good recommendations for visits. Breakfast was great too.

In summer heat, it was wonderfully relaxing to climb up the rocks to the swimming pool. The owners were extremely friendly, and the place feels truly authentic, carved into the rock face in the late 1700s. For breakfast they get freshly baked bread from an amazing bakery. The crust is crunchy and the inside soft, a technique most French bakeries still haven’t mastered.

After hours behind the wheel, we arrived at La Rochelière and Anneli gave us a lovely welcome. We were shown to a gorgeous room, then headed up to the pool perched on the cliff. The view from there was breathtaking. It’s a wonderful place to stay, and we can’t wait to return on our way back to the UK. A bientôt Anneli.
