Handy for a long trip between north and south, just by the A71 for an easy stop. There’s a lovely garden full of trees and a pool, though the house inside feels very rustic, with stuffed animals and assorted decorations. Breakfast was pretty average.

The owner was so kind, and really took to our parrot. We found the room beautiful, and the garden and pool were magnificent. The price was very reasonable too. We highly recommend the place.

The evening meals and breakfast were very good, and the lady even made us a picnic lunch from our leftovers. Such a pleasant stay. The rooms could do with a thorough cleaning, though.

8/10
Dinner came as a catered meal, and it was delicious, generous, and very good quality. Breakfast was just as satisfying, with lots of choice and plenty of food. The peaceful spot sits at the edge of a huge forest with plenty of hiking nearby. The B&B has a romantic look, and the room is very beautiful, full of rich upholstery and drapery. That much decoration takes a lot of upkeep, and there was dust and cobwebs in tucked-away corners. The large bed was neatly made, but its mattress was mediocre. For the price, the value was excellent.

The breakfast was generous, and we got a simple, very friendly welcome. This little farmhouse is about a 10-minute drive outside town, with warm, very comfortable rooms. I highly recommend it.
