The apartment was left very clean, but guests with dogs were still charged a €50 cleaning fee. The owner even said, "You wouldn't think he had a dog."

We liked having breakfast with a view of the peaceful courtyard. The apartment was comfortable and spotless, with tasteful decor and comfortable bedding, and we had a pleasant week there.

The hosts were friendly and quick to respond, and they’ve even added an electric car charging point. The cottage is just right for a week with family in the Alsatian countryside, with a lovely outdoor area when the weather’s good.

We found this guesthouse by chance and were welcomed very warmly. The apartment was charming, beautiful, spotless, and in a perfect location for our stay. It was excellent value for money, so thank you to the owners. Still, I was verbally attacked by the owner after we got back because I gave the accommodation an 8 out of 10 on Booking.com, which I think is a very good rating. After that reaction, we won’t be back.

The hosts made us feel very welcome. The apartment was practical and nicely decorated, with a washing machine and covered parking on site. It’s also well placed for Strasbourg and the tourist villages nearby.
