The food was good. The approach felt a little too commercial, though.

The meals were a real highlight, made with such care and love for the ingredients. And if you’re into whisky, you’ll be in heaven! Max, the caretaker, is lovely, and the welcome makes you feel at home right away. The rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable. I loved my stay and will definitely come back!

The hotel is simple and unpretentious, and arriving there feels like joining a family. It’s tucked away on a mountainside, with magnificent views of the Route des Crêtes and the Alsace Valley. The owner is discreet, kind, and generous, and the staff are attentive. The cooking is refined and generous too, both simple and sophisticated. A good place to step away from the world and enjoy some sincerity, peace, and pleasure. Highly recommended.

The host is passionate, cooks well, pays attention to his guests, responds quickly, and always has great advice. It’s a really pleasant, peaceful place, and I highly recommend it. Thanks again for a wonderful weekend 😊 I’ll definitely be back this winter when it snows.
