The owners are so warm and lovely, we already want to come back. We had a great chat about my compatriot Guillermo Arriaga, plus novelists, painters, musicians, brewers, and artists. They're knowledgeable people, and you could happily spend a whole day talking with them. The house is lovely, the decor is fantastic, and the garden is beautiful. Breakfast was out of this world. It's also a great place to unwind with a beer sauna, right in the middle of a wonderful beer-producing region, with several breweries just a few kilometres away.

Sophie and Manu make you feel welcome straight away with their warmth and kindness. The guesthouse itself has a charming, peaceful feel, with thoughtful, elegant decor that gives it a distinctive atmosphere. The spa aperitif is worth trying: a whirlpool bath in a Japanese tub with a grain-based powder, a key ingredient in beer and a familiar part of Flanders. The location is handy too, about 10 minutes from Cassel and near the A25 for the coast or Lille. A lovely place to discover while you're in Flanders.

There’s a lot to see and do nearby, and the accommodation is comfortable and high quality without costing a lot. The hosts are just as lovely as the place itself. It's an original, artistic, idyllic spot where we were lucky to spend a few relaxing days. It really stands out in the region, and is well worth the trip.

Sophie and Emmanuelle were such welcoming hosts, with an easy, friendly manner. Sophie prepared a lovely dinner and breakfast using fresh, local produce, and Emmanuelle served them. The guesthouse has beautiful decor throughout, from the bedroom and living room to the dining room, and a superb English-style garden. We spent the weekend at "WE Maison d'Hôtes" in Winnezeele, in the heart of the Flanders Mountains. Cassel is nearby, and the beautiful beach and long seawall at Malo-les-Bains are easy to reach. The Cassel suite is spotless and cozy, with lovely rustic charm. We slept especially well thanks to the bedding, and the garden gave us a real chance to reconnect with nature and our essential thoughts. Breakfast in the main room had an enchanting, refreshing atmosphere. The spa was deeply relaxing, particularly the cereal powder bath. Parking was easy, with several spaces nearby, and the charcuterie board with local beer made a great extra. Sophie greeted us with a warm, simple smile. She also has a ceramics studio where she exhibits and sells her many creations. We had a very pleasant, restful overnight stay at We. It's a peaceful green escape with no fuss. Highly recommended. We only wished we'd brought slippers so we could feel more at home. Thanks, and see you soon! ☺️
