There was no service.

We booked online, but arriving on 04/19/2025 was a huge disappointment. The mailbox was propped on a little pile of wood and branches beside the front door, and the interior was very dark and old. In the room, the bed was stained, the bathtub and sink were old, and there were only two cups. There was no soap, shower gel, or shampoo. Old wallpaper was peeling all around the toilet. We left as soon as we arrived, returned the keys, and rushed off to find somewhere else. For a few euros more, we found a superb hotel overlooking the lake, with a lovely room and a BALCONY. It was bright and very clean, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. The manager and staff were super friendly, which helped make up for the €89 we’d spent here, since it was non-refundable. Avoid this place at all times.

I’ve never stayed there, though I’ve spent five years at the campsite on the other side of the lake. The tasteless, absolutely ugly red lights on the roof are a grotesque and disrespectful eyesore against the stunning panorama here. It would be lovely if the operators, who surely also benefit from the wonderful natural setting, would switch the lights off. Thank you.

Every room has its own terrace overlooking the lake, and it’s an ideal spot for enjoying the lake and the surrounding forest. The breakfasts are perfect. We’ll be back!
