Le Pre De La Cure

The property is very nicely located in Yvoire, a beautiful medieval hamlet on the French shore of Lake Geneva. We visited in the first week of September 2025, and had a spacious room with a wonderful view. Parking was free. There was no complimentary breakfast, unlike at many of their European competitors. The front desk service was incredibly inadequate and quite rude. Nobody explained the property's amenities, and the manager seemed annoyed whenever we asked basic questions. We first booked through Booking.com, then the hotel suggested booking directly at a cheaper rate. That wasn't true, and buffet breakfasts were added to our bill each day without anyone explaining the cost. The manager also never told us about the pool or spa, or gave us anything with spa details or pricing. She looked annoyed throughout all three days. It's a shame, because the property itself was nice and inviting. My wife and I have stayed at similar places across Europe, and these were by far the rudest front desk staff we've encountered. I can't recommend the property because of how staff treated us. There are plenty of other options in this beautiful town that may meet or exceed expectations. Unfortunately, Le Pre de Cure isn't one of them. Caveat Emptor!
