Chambres d'Hôtes Le Mans - Chambres d'Hôtes La Bréachère

Lionel and his fiancée made me feel genuinely welcome, and even the other guests were lovely. Their little dog is adorable, too. I stayed while travelling to Lemans circuit, and the location worked really well, about 15 minutes from the circuit without traffic and close to Lemans town centre. It’s a great option if you want a proper bed instead of camping. The house is bright and airy, with lovely French decor, a garden and a cosy pool. Lionel was kind enough to do my laundry, suggest restaurants and things to do, and even offered me his bike. Breakfast was a real treat: homemade jams, fresh baguettes, yoghurt, good coffee, milk including soya, and eggs, ham or bacon if you want them. He clearly cares about both the house and the people staying there. Thanks, Lionel. I hope I get to stay with you again soon!

The heated pool and peaceful feel make this a lovely place to unwind near Le Mans. Lionel is so attentive, and breakfast is huge! The house is pleasant and very well looked after, with really comfortable rooms. I’d recommend it without hesitation.

Breakfast was a highlight, especially the pain chocolats and bread. The house itself is superb, and the rooms were clean. Lionel gave us such a warm welcome and is an open, friendly host. We’d recommend staying here and will come back if we get the chance. A place to remember. See you soon, Lionel, Hyo Hyo & Gribouille. The Vasse family.

I booked a room for 80 euros, but they charged me 120 euros. When I got back at 1 a.m., they were waiting and demanded payment right away. They also refused to give me a company check despite having my passport, and never provided the invoices or receipts I asked for. I found the whole thing very dishonest.
