A very old hotel, formerly called tabaq. It’s really nice, though a little expensive for the middle class.

A perfect spot if you want to switch off for a while. The chalets sit well apart from each other in a beautiful natural setting, with a restaurant just 800 metres away. Everything has been thought through for comfort, including a parking space. The chalet and room were spotless. The room has a bathtub, and the little terrace is just great. The chalets are lovely, with beautiful rooms. The owner was very welcoming, and breakfast was perfect, with a large coffee served right on time. A breath of fresh air, and I’d be very happy to return!

The only thing I liked was the peaceful location in the forest. We booked for the Le Mans Grand Prix, and while I understand prices going up, tripling them felt like a rip-off. At €250 a night, the service was nowhere near what I expected. The chalet felt old-fashioned and hastily finished. There were none of the amenities shown on the rental sites, including the kettle in the photos, which I found misleading. The whole place had just one power outlet downstairs, tucked away in a corner, and none by the bed or in the bathroom. They said they usually rent for the Grand Prix, though I have my doubts given how many chalets were available that weekend. How were we supposed to charge our phones and cameras? I’d also added breakfast, which was supposed to come to the chalet at the time we chose. Instead, it was served in a small room, with very little to eat and nothing fresh, just supermarket food. The only table was a tiny desk. When I reached into my bag, some of my drink had spilled. I was very disappointed. If they’re going to raise prices that much, guests should get some value for their money.

A really pleasant break, with warm and friendly hosts. The chalets are quiet and spaced well apart, set in nature, with cosy interiors. Inside, there’s plenty of room, and everything is comfortable, nicely decorated and well equipped. If you’re lucky in the morning, you might spot squirrels, rabbits or deer going by the terrace. The price was more than reasonable, and I’d be very happy to return.
