The room had so many thoughtful extras and was comfortable, and the whole place is full of character, right by the harbour. We booked Arosfa Harbourside at the last minute for an impromptu weekend away and were delighted with the find. Sara and Bill are lovely hosts. Breakfast was a real treat, with plenty of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, cheese and hot choices. The traditional breakfast was delicious, made with quality ingredients and cooked just right. We hope to come back.

Breakfast was the highlight each morning, beautifully laid out and well beyond what we expected. It felt like a five-star spread in a relaxed, homely setting. We loved our stay at this charming guest house and would happily recommend it to anyone after a beachside break and genuinely warm hospitality. We were still thinking about that breakfast after we left.

Kate, who served us and cooked breakfast, was especially lovely and couldn't do enough for us. The staff were all excellent and very helpful. We stayed for a few days to visit friends, and the guest house is lovely, right beside the harbour. We'd visited Aberaeron before and think it's a lovely little town. Our room was clean and tidy, with plenty of tea and coffee. The shower was the one drawback: it barely trickled, so it wasn't any good for me or my wife. If that doesn't bother you, we'd still highly recommend staying here.

The dessert was out of this world, and the meal was amazing too. We had a lovely time, with a beautiful atmosphere and friendly family and staff. They managed to fit us in at short notice just over a week ago. We'll definitely return, and might book a few nights' stay as well next time.

We were in a bind when the Hazeldene, where we'd booked, was closed, and Bill really helped us out. The room was brilliant, clean and beautifully furnished. Breakfast was great too. I'd recommend it to anyone.
