The Castle did a fantastic home-cooked Sunday lunch, and at £14 for a main it was great value. The beef was fantastic, with homemade Yorkshire pudding and proper homemade gravy, plus roast and mashed potatoes, parsnips, peas and green beans. I was so impressed I even ordered pudding. Friendly service and a lovely atmosphere too. Well done.

Popped in today to watch darts and rugby and got a lovely welcome. There's a great selection of beers and snacks, and the atmosphere is nice. It's very dog-friendly too, so I'd highly recommend dropping in with or without a dog.

The host was excellent throughout, and breakfast was sufficient. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It's in a great spot in town, right over the pub, and a great little place to stay.

Booked Sunday lunch and will definitely book again. They always make us feel welcome, and the atmosphere is great. The staff are so welcoming, especially Andy and Tina.

It's a really popular place with a lovely atmosphere and fabulous service. I had a drink here one evening, then watched the Lions match the next morning. They gave out free bacon rolls during the rugby and ran a free raffle to win a Lions gilet. Couldn't fault it.
