Jo welcomed us warmly and cooked a delicious breakfast. The house is beautiful, the room was lovely, and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. It was all great value for money. We’d definitely stay at No 30 again and highly recommend it.

We spent 5 nights there. Jo and her husband were outstanding, everything was First-class, and the breakfast was outstanding too. I’ll definitely go back. Highly recommend.

The family room had plenty of room for 2adults and a child, and the furnishings and thoughtful details throughout this quirky bed and breakfast are fantastic. Jo is a chatty, lovely host who makes a beautiful breakfast to start the day. She can answer questions about just about anywhere, and if she doesn’t know, she’ll find out. There’s also a lovely basement shop with gifts for your home or to give as presents. Great value for money, and a million times better than a group hotel. We’ll definitely return.

I went to explore the Rhondda Valleys, nearby waterfalls, nature, and walking trails, and the landscape was breathtaking. My stay at No 30 with Jo and Paul made the trip even more meaningful. I hadn’t expected such a warm welcome or so much hospitality. The house is decorated in a unique, tasteful way, and my bedroom was beautiful, though the photos don’t do it justice. I slept better than at home in the incredibly comfortable bed. Breakfast was a delicious full English served on Mason's crockery, and I felt like a VIP. The basement shop has gorgeous, unusual things, and I happened to need Frenchic paint, which they stock, so I bought some. I might go back to Aberdare just to stay there again. I really can’t recommend this B&B and its hosts enough.

We’ve stayed here many times since it first opened, and whenever we’re in the area we don’t go anywhere else. The welcome is always warm, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is great, and breakfast is lovely. I can’t praise the place enough and am already looking forward to our next visit in August.
