While we were already driving from Glasgow, they called to say we needed our passports and driving licence to check in. We couldn’t turn back, so we knew we wouldn’t be able to stay. Luckily, we found a room at the Britannia hotel and enjoyed our stay there. We expected to lose the £80 deposit, but they charged the full amount to our daughter’s account. Disgusted, and I’d never recommend these robbers to anyone 🤨

I’d left Glasgow without knowing I needed my passport to get into the property, so I couldn’t access the apartment I’d already booked and paid for. The booking process felt invasive, like I was being treated as a criminal before even arriving. I had to find somewhere else to stay. When I asked for a full or partial refund, the answer was a straight no. They were happy to take the money but offered no help. I don’t know how this woman can run a business and take money for nothing. Wouldn’t recommend booking here unless you’ve got a few hundred pounds to throw away.

I felt very unsafe and like my privacy had been completely invaded, so I booked and paid to stay somewhere else. The proprietor was dismissive and wouldn’t compromise after I explained what had happened. She charged me the full amount even though I never stayed there. The lack of customer service and help was disgusting. It felt like they were just after my money.

A friend booked this place for us in Aberdeen, and the apartment was dirty. The beds were broken and uncomfortable, the bathroom badly needed repairs, and the hallway was always dark and frightening to walk through. There wasn’t any dish soap, and the TV was hanging on the wall by a string. Almost every closet had someone’s personal belongings in it.
