We got a top-floor room with a really nice view and a private toilet. Towels and washing gel were provided, and you can park on the street. The neighborhood was very quiet, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Self check-in is available, with the details sent by email. It's a cozy, nice hotel in an older building, though it's not luxurious. The one thing I'd change is the mattress. My partner and I felt like we were on a waterbed, but that's just my personal preference. 😄

The building has lovely old-style character and good decor, and the beds were good too. We got a cheerful welcome, but the room was mediocre, with toothpaste on the glass provided and a couple of spider webs in the corners.

The room was tiny, and so was the shower. There’s no way to get from the parking area to the room, so you have to walk around the whole block to reach the central entrance.

The stay and service were excellent. My one suggestion is to improve the weak shower pressure on the second floor.

The room was freezing, with no heating, and the place was dirty. There were dirty towels, clothes left by other guests on the floor, wet wipes lying around, and a broken toilet door. It was really disappointing. I'd happily spend the extra 10-15 quid next time for somewhere clean and warm.
