There were ten of us in the group, and we’d all come back without hesitation. The meal deal was excellent value, as was the experience overall. The room was spacious and very clean, with a comfortable bed. Julie at reception deserves a special mention, she was just the best, and all the dining room staff were excellent. The fish and chips were excellent too. My only small grumble is that our two meals took longer than expected, making dinner last over two hours. That could be improved.

This was our third stay, and we’ll be back again. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Peter in the restaurant was brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us, while Natalie was great and cheerful at breakfast.

I regularly stay here for work, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The restaurant is great and the food is lovely, with welcoming service. The rooms feel a bit tired, though, and could do with updating.

The pub food was acceptable, but I wouldn’t be in a hurry to return. The rooms are very dated, with no air conditioning or heating. I had to use an oil-filled radiator, which took ages to warm the room. For the price, it wasn’t bad, but I expected better from a Premier Inn. Parking was very tight, and the car park was full of work vans.

Elena at reception was lovely and couldn’t have been more apologetic when we spoke to her. But the room wasn’t clean, and we certainly won’t stay here again. The guest bed didn’t look like it had been cleaned for some time, and there was dust on the furniture. The curtains had water stains, which made sense after seeing the window in poor repair. The hotel is old and tired, but that’s no excuse for the state of the room. It wasn’t the standard I expect from Premier Inn.
