The chalet was peaceful, and we didn’t hear another person the whole time. It had everything we needed: two bedrooms with comfy beds, plenty of clothes storage, a good shower with toiletries, and a well-stocked kitchen. There were board games and DVDs too, plus free cakes waiting when we arrived, thanks! The host was friendly and communicated well. We could check in whenever suited us using the key in the lockbox, and park right outside the front door. It worked brilliantly as a base for the Machynlleth Comedy Festival over the May bank holiday weekend, about 20 minutes away, with Aberdyfi and its lovely beach a short drive beyond. We enjoyed our stay and would come again.
