We loved the views, especially from the kitchen, where you look straight through the tops of two stunning oak trees. Strathtay Lodge at Aberfeldy Scotland sits high up, with loads of parking, a quiet setting and a grassy spot at the end for the dog’s last wee of the night. Inside it felt like a new build, airy and fully equipped with everything we could want, from a hairdryer and chopping boards to dishwasher tabs. It was clean and warm, with an easy heating dial and a woodburner with instructions. With three bedrooms, it could suit a couple or a big family. Superb, and worth every penny. Thanks, guys!

There are lots of walks nearby, and Aberfeldy is very close. We had plenty of room for five people in this quiet, cosy and clean home from home. It was well equipped, and we had a lovely stay.

The owners were quick to respond and very open to suggestions, which was great, though we had nothing to raise. We had a wonderful stay in this amazing holiday let, beautifully laid out with incredible views. Aberfeldy and the surrounding area are gorgeous.

We loved how quiet it was, and the lodge was spot on, fresh and new. There were welcome gifts, drinks and chickens waiting for us. I really liked the books and the guidebook the owners put together, with lots of things to do nearby and good food to try. 3lemon is a two-minute drive and definitely worth trying if you're in the area. Thanks so much for having us. We hope to come back in future.

The lodges are beautifully placed just outside Aberfeldy, with views over the alluvial plain and the Tay River. They're well appointed too.
