Old Station Cottages

For £70 room only, Station House impressed me. Room 3 was clean, neat and tidy in the refurbished building, and the sash cord on one of the new windows was broken, so that needs attention with winter coming. Check-in is at the hotel across the road, though you can arrange a later arrival and collect the key from a secure box. I've recently stayed at its sister hotel, "Town House", across the road and enjoyed that too. Aberfeldy is only a 30-minute drive from Pitlochry and feels much less touristy in season. There are a few decent places to eat, including Lemon Tree, and the Indian does a decent curry. If choosing between here and a soulless Premier Inn, there's no contest. I was very happy with my stay and will be back.

The room was just as shown on the website, and there’s a pleasant kitchen seating area with a coffee machine. The building has no staff on site, but the chap handling check-in at the hotel across the road was friendly and helpful. Nothing to fault about my stay.

I enjoyed my stay. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The Station House is right on the main road, conveniently close to local amenities. There’s no breakfast, but tea and coffee are available around the clock in the lounge.
