The location made it easy to get to local attractions, and everything I needed was close by. The staff were friendly and welcoming from the start, which gave the place a relaxed, warm feel. My room was spacious and nicely designed, with good facilities and a very comfortable bed. I slept well. Breakfast was a highlight: delicious, beautifully prepared, and a lovely start to the day. We spotted the wine bar on site, which looked inviting, but didn’t get to try it this time. We’ll come back for a glass or two. A delightful stay, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone after a cosy, welcoming place.

Breakfast was a treat, with fresh fruit, local eggs, homemade granola and really good coffee. The Gwesty Cymru Hotel also has welcoming, friendly staff, who gave us very helpful sightseeing suggestions. Our stylish, comfortable room was quiet, and the location right on the promenade gave us lovely views of the sea and cliffs. Restaurants, pubs, museums and the city centre are just around the corner. We had an amazing stay and can’t recommend it strongly enough.

We chose Gwesty Cymru for an overnight stay while scouting spots along the west Wales coast for a lifestyle shoot, and it won us over. The Victorian building sits right on the prom, with a room overlooking Cardigan Bay. Staff were warmer than you tend to find in bigger hotels, and breakfast the next morning was excellent fuel for a long day on location. A real gem, even for a quick one-night visit.

We had a sea-view room at Gwesty Cymru, and it was warm, cosy and spotless. A lovely place to watch the wild waves, the starling murmurings and the sunset. The staff even rearranged rooms so our dad had fewer steps to climb, which was thoughtful. The decor and showers were spot on. Breakfast was delicious, with tasty local produce and excellent coffee. Izzy was on breakfast duty and was so welcoming and friendly, really good at her front-of-house role. She also gave us some sightseeing tips. We had a fabulous stay and will be back soon. Next time we’ll try the wine and tapas in the bar, and book direct with the hotel.

We were made to feel very welcome by the friendly, polite staff. The location is ideal, just steps from the pier and seafront, and our room was tidy and clean. The cooked breakfast was great too, especially the sausages. Great stay.
