The bar has a lively atmosphere and feels like a social hub in Dorchester, a nice place to meet people and make friends. The White Hart Hotel has a warm, welcoming feel, with a stylish country-chic look. Staff are incredibly friendly and made me feel like part of the family from the moment I arrived. My room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Breakfast had a great range, with something for everyone. Highly recommend!

The restaurant was my favourite part of staying at the White Hart Hotel, the food was fantastic. Johnathan gave me such a warm welcome when I arrived. My room was lovely and spacious, with everything I needed. A fantastic stay, 10/10, I’ll come back and recommend it to friends.

The Sunday roast and desserts were delicious, and the portions were generous. Breakfast had plenty of continental options as well as a really good Full English, cooked just right. Our room was super comfortable and quiet, and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. We had such a relaxing Sunday stay at the White Hart. Thanks so much, we’ll recommend it for both stays and food!

We slept so well, with no noise from the pub, and the made-to-order breakfast downstairs was lovely and hot. The staff were so welcoming and looked after us, nothing was too much trouble. I stayed at the white hart in Dorchester for a surprise birthday trip my husband arranged with the manager. Room 7 was spacious and clean, with a freestanding bath where I had a lovely long soak. The building’s twists and turns felt really quirky. If you want a corporate hotel, this probably isn’t the place, but you’d miss a hidden gem. Dinner was lovely traditional food: we had pie with triple-cooked chips and bangers and mash, then shared a crumble with custard, naturally. Good portions, great value, and so tasty we didn’t want to leave any. They also have themed food nights on some evenings. Would stay again. Thank you to everyone at the white hart x

The two hours flew by, and we had some delicious tasters. I did a cookery class with Sanjay during the Dorchester festival, and it was great fun and really inspiring. He told us about his love of cooking, his journey to the UK when he was 10, and the Indian and African roots of his cooking. He also spoke about his inspirational mum and her love of cooking. The “Ghee roast” base was amazing and could be used for so many different dishes. I’ll be in soon to try the butter chicken dinner. Thank you for such an inspirational session 👍👍
