Lunch was a real treat for my friend and me. The staff were so friendly, and their recommendation of the pork belly was spot on, it was delicious. Simon especially made the meal more enjoyable with his funny, kind manner. We finished with a superb coffee made by the young lad. Thanks, we'll definitely come back.

We had a slight wait for the main course, but it didn't spoil our Christmas meal or the day. The General manager handled the delay very effectively and did everything he could to put things right. We're already planning to book again next year as soon as reservations open. At the Doghouse, the atmosphere was great and the staff were welcoming and worked hard throughout. The food was delicious and nicely presented, with generous, hot plates. The meat, roast potatoes, big Yorkshire, carrots, parsnips, and Brussels were all good, as were the starters and desserts. We had a fantastic Christmas dinner with family. Thanks to everyone at the Doghouse for making it memorable.

I hadn't been to The Dog House in years, but my husband and I went for dinner tonight and were really impressed. It's a warm, cosy, inviting pub, the staff were friendly, and the portions were generous as well as delicious. A kind staff member even dashed out to the carpark with my scarf after I left it at our table. Thanks again, we'll be back!

It was quiet out in the countryside, and not too far from the park and ride, which worked perfectly for us. The rooms were warm and very comfortable, and the staff were welcoming and easy to approach. We had a great stay at the dog house hotel.

The prawn cocktail starter was immense! We had Christmas Day dinner at the Dog house and were treated like royalty as soon as we sat down. Georgia looked after us so well, offered to take photos for our memories, and couldn't do enough. The food was stunning. We're very glad we chose the Dog House for Christmas, and we'll definitely return.
