The quiet, traditional feel made this lovely little hotel a great place to relax and feel at home. We had a wonderful stay at the Loch Shiel Hotel. The food was delicious, and we were especially pleased to be offered a Full Scottish breakfast. A lovely way to start the day. A charming, peaceful place to stay.

A strange place, with a very odd Fawlty Towers kind of atmosphere. Our room was clean enough, and the food was nice enough, but we were given the wrong order. Checking in was a real struggle too, as nobody seemed able to work out which room was meant to be ours.

The atmosphere was superb, and both the food and service were great. A fabulous spot for a lovely evening meal.

Seeing the red deer up close was a real bonus, and it’s definitely worth making the effort to walk down to the loch. We were delighted with our stay at this lovely Highland hotel. The staff were friendly, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious.

Dinner and breakfast were both very good, and having a friendly pub downstairs with plenty in stock meant there was no need to drive out for food. The staff were lovely and welcoming, and the rooms were clean and cosy. I'd definitely go back.
