We wished we’d booked a longer stay. Ross was a friendly, informative host, and Corriness House has lots of character in a great location, near excellent restaurants and just a 15 minute walk from delightful Inverewe Gardens. Our spacious room was well equipped, with a comfortable bed and a great ensuite. Breakfast was tasty and there was plenty of choice. There’s so much to see and do in this beautiful area, so we’d recommend staying at least 2 or 3 nights.

Ross was such a kind, pleasant host. We met him at breakfast the morning after arriving, which had plenty of options and was very good. We stayed in room 6 at Corriness House, where the room and bathroom were both very spacious. Self check-in until 10 PM was quick and easy, the bed was comfortable, and I felt refreshed in the morning. The bathroom water pressure was great, a bit of a luxury in Scotland, and even the WiFi reached our room and was speedy. I highly recommend staying here.

This was our second visit and we felt very comfortable again. Ross is a really friendly host, the rooms are tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean, and breakfast is freshly prepared and delicious. It’s a good base for visiting Inverewe Garden and exploring the magnificent landscape. Thanks for everything, we’d love to come back!
