The fishing lake made this a lovely stop, and there’s a nice short walk into town, plus a local bus to skegness. We stayed in our motorhome on the way back to Spain. The pitch was a good size, the facilities were spot on, and the pub and restaurant next door are worth a visit. The staff and owner were really friendly. Would definitely stop again.

The food at the King's Head was amazing, and the staff were really friendly. I had the medium portion and my good lady chose small. You can even have three meats on one plate if you want, but next time I’ll go for the OAP or small option because it was just too much for me. We met the owners too, and they were very nice and friendly. We decided to try it after a friend reviewed it on TikTok. Definitely going again soon.

The meat was so tender and the veg really fresh at Sunday lunch. It was well worth the money, and I’ll be back.

Staff and customers gave us a warm welcome, and the atmosphere was very friendly. But my wife gets around with a walker and couldn’t manage the thick gravel. Because of that, we cut our weekend stay short by a day. We were disappointed that the place isn’t accessible for disabled guests. If you have a disability, this isn’t the place for you.

Usually we stay further in, near fantasy island, so this was our first time here. The girl who showed us to our room was really polite and helpful. The room was lovely, nicely decorated, clean and tidy, and the shower pressure was perfect. There was no TV remote, but it didn’t affect our stay.
