We were there for a wedding last weekend. The hosts were superb and very helpful, and it was a lovely place to wander around and take in the farmland.

The breakfast was a real disappointment. There wasn't much choice, despite what was advertised: no yoghurt, just three thin melon slices and two grapes for decoration, and orange marmalade but no other jam. The main plate seemed undercooked, with pale sliced mushrooms, only a spoonful of warm beans and two quarter slices of tomato. The bacon and eggs were the only things cooked adequately. We got half a slice each of white and brown toast, with no more offered. The tea and coffee were drinkable. That was it. The host had disappeared by the time we left, so there were no goodbyes. We stayed two nights B&B. The farm is beside a busy, fast road, and the secondary glazing was the only thing that made sleeping comfortably possible. The twin room had six-foot beds, which would be a squeeze for anyone taller. Water pressure was low, so the electric shower ran weakly and needed careful adjustment between hot and cold. Internet speeds were about 1.5 Mbps down and under 0.5 Mbps up, useless for today's needs. I can't recommend it as a B&B. It seems better suited to caravan campers used to more basic amenities, and in summer the caravan traffic going back and forth would be a nightmare. Look elsewhere for a more congenial B&B.

Christine and Ted were such friendly hosts and took great care of us during our few days there. There was absolutely nothing I could fault about our two-night stay. I'd recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone.

This family-run B&B feels like a home away from home. We had lovely, friendly conversations, and breakfast was wonderful. They put a lot of effort into the place, and we'll definitely visit again.
