The cake chef Kendi made for my birthday was a lovely finish, beautifully decorated and delicious. My sister had arranged lunch at the Braye Beach, and it was a great pick. I really enjoyed the steak salad, and everyone at the table liked their meals. The service has been lackluster in recent years, but this time it was efficient and genuinely friendly, with plenty of smiles. Thanks to Kendi, if I have her name right, and the rest of the staff for making the effort.

Alderney is such a special corner of the British Isles, with beautiful coastal walks nearby. The hotel is in a superb, really special location, and we loved our stay enough to hope we can come back. Staff were polite, friendly and professional throughout. The rooms are a little small but clean and have what you need. Breakfast was very good, with some lovely local food. Thanks to the whole team for their work.

The dessert looked lovely and tasted great. Earlier, we had asked to switch tables for a view of the bay, and the staff sorted it quickly and without fuss. They were friendly and efficient throughout. The chicken liver pâté was lovely, and the relish alongside it was among the best I've tasted. I had the roast beef, served medium as I prefer it. The Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes weren't the best I've had, though they were still tasty.

The view over Braye beach was incredible, and the food and service were sublime. We stayed for two nights in January 2024, and the room was first class. Every member of staff was welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. Fantastic place, and we'd thoroughly recommend it. We'll be back!

I've been coming for many years, and even chose the Braye Beach hotel for our silver anniversary. It's one of my favourite hotels anywhere. The location is hard to beat, with a tremendous view of the beach and sweeping bay from the bedroom windows, and the service is impeccable.
