The bathroom was shared, with one toilet and shower room on the second floor. I’d asked for twin beds but got a double, and the room looked worse than the photos. When I checked under the mattress, the bed had collapsed: slats were missing and a thin piece of hardboard covered the gap. I won’t stay again.

The room was a decent size and the price was good. It was very basic, with no TV, but that’s what you get for a cheap stay. Since it’s the cheapest accommodation in the area, I’d book again.

There was damp on the wall facing the window, and the room had nowhere to do my hair or makeup. I wouldn’t have booked if I’d known it wasn’t en suite. It didn’t feel catered to women, and there wasn’t even a TV.

A really nice place to stay and get some rest. I’d recommend it.
