This is a huge house and worked well for bringing the family together. The accommodation was lovely, clean, and well equipped. It's only 200 yards from the Loch, though it wasn't obvious how to walk down to the lochside because some areas around there are private.

The building itself is really nice, but this didn't feel like the luxury described on the website. Some of the decor is cheap and nasty, especially the living room windows. The pillows were so old and flattened, the towels very thin, and the bathrooms had 55p Asda handwash. A few bulbs didn't work or took ages to brighten up, leaving things dim and gloomy. The Aga in the kitchen seems to be there just for show, and the dishwasher is tucked into a cupboard in a way that makes it almost impossible to load. Wi-Fi is shared between three properties and painfully slow at best, often unusable. I wouldn't stay there again.

Wendy was a big help when we got lost trying to find the lodge 😂. The lodge itself was lovely, clean, and comfortable. Thanks, and hopefully next time we'll stay at The Jetty with our wee granddaughter.

A peaceful retreat with lots of wildlife, and plenty of walks nearby. It's a short stroll from the Loch for boating activities, and had all the amenities we needed.

Gorgeous cottage, with The Cruin just a 10-minute walk away.
