The staff were friendly and professional, and ready to help however they could. Rooms were really clean and well presented, with comfy beds and a well-kept bathroom. The breakfast menu was regular, but the food was nice and hot. Rates seemed reasonable considering we booked just five minutes before walking through the hotel door. I still didn't understand the extra £5 car parking charge for hotel guests, though. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for an event at the SECC, which was very close by, and an Uber into the busy nightlife area was only £8. Facilities were a big reason we booked. The gym and studios are huge, clean, and have top notch equipment. The pool, sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi were immaculate. Parking was free with our club room, and staff were spot on throughout. I used the gym on arrival day, and they kindly let me use it after checkout too, at no extra cost. Our room was clean, tidy, and modern, with a welcome hairdryer, hot shower, comfortable bed, and a nice view. The TV had plenty of channels, though it did lose signal now and then. Breakfast was very nice and good value. Everything else was perfect, and I'd definitely stay at a village hotel again. The only slight downside was mouldy residue at the bottom of the coffee machine's water container, so we didn't use it and just used the kettle. I mentioned it to staff at checkout. I'm sure they would have sorted it during the stay if we'd raised it sooner, as they were very attentive. Maybe it's a bit harsh, but that's the only reason I gave four stars.

The room was five minutes from the OVO stadium and wasn't too noisy or busy. It was also an easy 15 minute walk to the main central town, with lots of restaurants, shops, and bars. We especially recommend Penang pan Asian too. Staff were super generous, friendly, and kind. The facilities were amazing, with a great gym, easy to use showers at the right temperature, and a bed that was very comfortable, not too soft or hard. Breakfast and bar food were decent, with good serving sizes. We'd certainly stay again!

I was only there for one night before an event at the same venue the next day with a local company. Parking was easy, reception was pleasant, and the staff answered all my questions with a smile. I could visit the venue in advance. My room was spot on, with working Wi-Fi, everything needed in the bathroom, and an extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast had hot and cold options, though I stuffed myself with bacon toasties. The event room was ideal, and a member of the hotel team looked after us amazingly well. I can't remember her name, but she had red hair. They also took good care of my lactose intolerance. The location is handy, with the motorway, BBC Scotland, and Ibrox Stadium all a short distance away.

I've stayed at a village hotel three times now. This is a new, modern hotel on the south side of the river clyde, and I got a good discount for my two night stay with blue light discount. My room was clean and comfortable, with the home comforts I needed, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and plenty of towels. The pool was lovely, and I swam three times. The bar had a good vibe, and there's a starbucks on site. Rachel, a polite and well presented member of staff, checked me in and let me have my room early. She took my car registration and carefully checked my booking details. After recent bad press about easy hotel access, I was surprised the elevator didn't require key card access to the room floors. It would be easy to walk in from the street or the bar and reach them. At checkout, Katy gave me a pleasant surprise by saying parking was free. I'd expected to pay £10 a day.
