Paul & Nikki were so kind, and breakfast was delicious. They also catered for our little boy. We found Anchor House at the last minute and were really glad we did. Our one-night stay was lovely, with a very clean, nice room. Five stars all round, and we hope to return soon. Roxy, Nick & Oakley x

The rooms are comfortable and clean, with stylish decor, and breakfast is really tasty, so make sure to include it. Paul and Nikki are ideal hosts, clearly experienced in hospitality and attentive to everything you could need. We’ve enjoyed another stay at the Anchor and think it’s the best place to stay in this area and the surrounding area. We’ll be back!

We’d never visited the region before, but if we return, we’d stay at Anchor House again. Paul and Nicky were excellent hosts, informative and as helpful as anyone could be. Our room was exceptionally clean and well equipped, with a small tabletop fridge. The large, brand-new shower was powerful, and there were plenty of handrails for guests with mobility issues. Breakfast was served at the table, with a huge choice. There’s also a large, secure car park. The price seemed reasonable for the quality of this B&B. Thank you, Paul and Nicky.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and breakfast was yummy. Paul and Nicky were incredibly kind and went out of their way to look after us. Nothing we asked felt like too much. We’d highly recommend staying here.
