I keep returning to Crich lane. It’s a gorgeous, comfortable home from home, with lovely country views and a relaxing atmosphere. I’m here for work, but it always feels like a little break. The breakfast is delicious and the family are wonderfully friendly.

It’s a working farm, and I loved seeing Dave Clark 5 walking around. They catered for all the different dietary needs, and when my husband was ill, they couldn’t have been more helpful. A great place.

The host was incredibly welcoming, and the rooms were clean, thoughtfully laid out and wonderfully spacious. It’s a very isolated spot, but also beyond picturesque. Such a tranquil stay. If only every place we stayed was like this, they’d all be perfect. Ten out of ten.

We were treated like honoured guests by our lovely hosts, who were happy to help with anything. The rooms were tidy and spotless, and breakfast was superb. Richard even showed me how to make a perfect soft-boiled egg. Crich Lane Farm is the ideal B&B. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Kate was incredibly helpful and happy to have us there, the complete opposite of Basil Fawlty! The rooms are very well appointed, with quality furniture, and the whole setup is great. There was a good range of breakfast choices at a fair price. The full English defeated me, and I couldn’t eat another thing five hours later. Excellent, Kate and her husband have a great business.
