Everything about the hotel worked well for me, and I have no complaints. The staff were welcoming, friendly and especially helpful. The restaurant next door was friendly too, though we weren’t particularly keen on it. There are burger places within a ten-minute walk, so there’s plenty nearby. It’s conveniently close to the Designer Outlet for anyone wanting to shop. I’d happily come back next time I’m up here. A good base for heading out to the Peak District or doing some shopping.

The room initially smelled like a dirty, wet mop, so I went straight back to reception. Mandy was lovely, very apologetic and accommodating, and quickly arranged a downstairs room with easy access for me. I also needed extra towels, and she brought them over. Two lovely staff members greeted me at Alfreton and checked me in after I collected my key. Remember to complete the car park registration authentication. Mandy is a helpful, polite and professional asset to this Premier Inn.

We only stayed one night, and it was very cheap. The room was nice and breakfast was lovely. The bath handles in our room were looking tired and need changing, but otherwise I’ve no complaints.

The check-in was probably the nicest I’ve had at a Premier Inn. A very polite, kind gentleman checked me in using the fast check-in system while a lovely young woman sorted out my ultimate WiFi. Very welcoming, thank you both. You’re a credit to Premier Inn.
