Dirty Bottles

I had the pulled lamb shepherd’s pie, and it was hot, tasty and good value. There’s a good range on the menu, including lunchtime specials. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our waitress checked that everything was okay.

We’ve stayed here before, back when it hadn’t yet become Greene King, and the rooms are stunning. It’s also our local pub, and we’d recommend it to anyone visiting Alnwick. The food is amazing, with good deals listed on the menu. We’d been looking forward to trying the Mega Breakfast for ages, and it was lovely and filling. You can order food and drinks to your table through the app too. Definitely worth a visit!

We booked at the last minute and found a lovely, cosy pub with plenty of space and seats. There’s a wide menu, including a great kids’ selection, and you can order from your table or at the bar. They warned us food might take 40 minutes, but when we asked about getting the children’s meals first, it was no problem. Everything came within 20 minutes, piping hot, tasty and in generous portions. We couldn’t stay for a few pints, which was a shame. I’d definitely come back.

During our week’s holiday, we ate at Dirty bottles every night with our dog Willow. The service was very good and they were dog friendly. The food was good value too. I’ll be back next time I’m in Alnwick.
