John and Anne were lovely hosts, and we had a really enjoyable stay in their wonderful B&B. The freshly cooked breakfast was delicious, with John in the kitchen and Anna looking after guests. They also had lots of ideas for things to do in Eastbourne. Our bedroom was large, with a comfortable big bed and two armchairs. There was plenty of tea and coffee, fresh milk and homemade biscuits. The bathroom was spacious too, with a huge bath, a big shower and two basins.

An easy walk gets you to Eastbourne’s main areas, and Annie had great ideas for day trips further afield. She was attentive, and John was a master in the kitchen, making breakfast to order each day. The room was exceptionally spacious, with a comfortable bed, places to sit and tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was huge, with both a bath and a great shower. Incredible hosts, and I’d highly recommend this B&B for any length of stay.

Anne had so much local knowledge that we ended up trying things we might otherwise have missed. We’ve just come back from four nights at The Manse, and Anne and John were wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much trouble, our room was lovely and clean, and breakfast was yummy. We’ll recommend it to family and friends. Thank you for everything, Anne and John. Janet and Ivor

A beautiful room and a great choice at breakfast. The facilities are fantastic, and the hosts are superb. It’s a short walk to the amenities and transport. One of our all-time favourites, and we 100% recommend it if you’re staying in Eastbourne.

The hygiene standards were higher than anywhere we’ve stayed before, including many 5-star places. Anne and John made us feel like family, and we’re looking forward to coming back. They were wonderful hosts and nothing was a problem. We appreciated the water in the room, with sparkling or still to choose from, as well as the toiletries, robes and slippers. Breakfast was amazing, and they catered for all dietary needs. This was a real gem to find.
