We'd enjoyed a pint at the Harbour hatch and a walk around Amble, then came back after getting fish and chips from the nearby shop. It was late and some tables had opened up, so we politely asked if we could buy a few more pints. A woman snapped at us and said no. We would've accepted a polite no if they didn't allow outside food, and would've given 5 stars, but her attitude put us off. The place seemed nice and the gentleman behind the bar was lovely, but we won't be back.
