We had beautiful harbour views from upstairs, and the building itself is lovely, with large, spotless rooms and a bright, spacious kitchen downstairs. The shower was hot and strong, too. It's also right next door but one to the Wee Chippy, where you can get huge fish and chip meals. It was the perfect place to spend the night in Anstruther before our day trip to May Isle. We'd definitely stay again.

The sea views were amazing, and the staff were friendly and relaxed. Rooms are simple, clean and calm, with nice bedding, and there's a great kitchen with modern appliances and plenty of space. Only thing missing from the utensil drawer was a spatula :-) Great value, and I look forward to coming back.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. It's a small place, with clean rooms and bathrooms and great shared areas. The shared room was a bit noisy from the street during the day, but there was hardly any traffic at night and the town was quiet.

The bathrooms were pristine, better than any hotel we stayed in. Check-in went smoothly, and the room was clean and the place quiet. A fabulous stop on the Fife Coastal Path, 1000% recommend!

The building has great character from its history, and the rooms are clean, warm and quiet. We found the bathrooms clean too, and the showers had good pressure. We didn't use the kitchen, but it looked well equipped, spacious and bright, with plenty of seating and wide windows. The bus stop is right outside, so it's easy to get here on the main routes. There's also ample free parking if you follow the signs. Darius and Pippa made us feel incredibly welcome when we arrived. We very much look forward to visiting Anstruther again and staying here.
