This is a review of the restaurant only, as I didn't stay here, so ignore the rooms rating. The Duck, Lamb and Coley were delicious and perfectly cooked. The service let the restaurant down. The waitresses were quite unpleasant, and I saw one let the door close on an elderly couple coming in towards her.

We were a group of 16, so not an easy party to handle, but they did a pretty good job. The menu is mainly seafood, and others in the group were just as enthusiastic about it as I was about my meal. I had the best plate of food I've had in a long, long time, duck breast cooked perfectly. I'd highly recommend it.

We shared the mussels, salt and chilli squid, and fish finger butty. Everything was fresh and fantastic quality, and the prices were great too, especially compared with other well known places in the East Neuk. Delicious!

The portions are really big, and I'll definitely be back. I popped in for lunch and all the staff were lovely and welcoming. The food was really great. Fresh scampi was delicious, the fajitas were so tasty, and the sticky toffee pudding was the best I've ever had. The creme brulee was lovely too. Highly recommend.

I only tried the restaurant, but as a Coeliac I was delighted they had a dedicated Gluten Free menu with a great choice of starters, mains, desserts and sharing plates. I had the Fish Pie with vegetables, and it was absolutely delicious. The staff knew their way around GF, were friendly, and the service was great.
