Caldhame Lodge

Very clean and comfortable, and the hosts were accommodating. We had a suite with a large bathroom, including a jetted bath and shower, and there’s plenty of parking. The turn into the lodging comes up quickly, especially if you’re not used to driving in another country. Breakfast was very good: my husband had a full Irish, while I chose the smaller eggs-and-bacon option. The coffee was strong, just how he likes it. I’d recommend this lodge to family and friends travelling to Belfast.

The owner was so personable and helpful, and really made us feel cared for. The rooms are beautiful, with dark wood cabinets that take your breath away, spacious bedrooms, and great showers. The open breakfast room feels comfortable, and you can choose an Irish Breakfast or request almost anything. We had omelets, and they were great. The drive to Belfast takes about 15 minutes and is easy to navigate. We loved this Bed and Breakfast and wished we’d had more time. If you’re deciding where to stay, book here. They also accept the vouchers. You can’t go wrong.

The room was a real surprise for the price, especially the newly redone bathroom. The wallpaper could do with an update, but we were impressed otherwise. The owner was so helpful and friendly, even getting up early to put together a small breakfast before the usual time because we had a flight to catch. Handy spot for Belfast International too.

We had such a lovely time, my daughter and I. The rooms are beautiful, and everyone on staff made us feel welcome and helped whenever we needed it. The setting is beautiful for a wedding reception too. Thanks so much to the owners and all the staff. I'd happily recommend staying here.
