Cosy Nook Cottage

The quiet here in the morning, having a cuppa in bed, was hard to beat. I really didn’t want to leave after our two-night Valentine’s break. The location is stunning, and from the moment we walked in we were wowed. The cottage is immaculately clean and fresh, with super-comfy beds and a cosy feel throughout. It has everything you need for anything from a mini break to a proper week’s holiday. We can’t praise the cottage or company enough, and can’t wait to come back soon. Thank you so much x

We were only the third group to stay after the cottage was refurbished, and booked from the photos since there were no reviews yet. We weren’t disappointed. The owner, who lives next door, greeted us, and we soon felt settled. The place is finished to a high standard, with lots of attention to detail, and has a lovely garden to sit and relax in. We found all the amenities we needed. We especially liked the cleanliness, the lemon plant and apple tree in the garden, the lively owner’s dog “Beau,” and the friendly owner. It was peaceful and quiet, and the star-gazing at night was lovely. Highly recommended!

There’s not much in warcop beyond this cottage, but Penrith Morrisons and booths are an easy drive for supplies. There’s also a coop in Appleby, a supermarket in Kirby stephen, and some lovely independent shops. It’s a great home away from home on the doorstep of the lake District. Inside, it feels like five-star luxury, from the homely but upmarket soft furnishings and power showers to the toiletries, super log burner, super king beds and three flat-screen TVs. You can’t beat it.

The cottage is wonderful, with a beautifully decorated interior. I can’t recommend it highly enough 👌
