I only chose this place because it was the closest available option while I was in Arbroath for a very close friend's funeral. I hadn't given much thought to where I stayed, but it became a little sanctuary during a really difficult time. Angela was so kind and welcoming. I don't think she even realised how much easier she made things for me. Thank you.

Angela had a huge range of breakfast items ready, more choice than I've ever seen for a continental breakfast. Kirkstyle Hideaway also has a beautiful, secluded garden and felt completely private. It was an amazing, relaxing place with everything we could have wanted. I'd recommend it for a superb holiday. Thanks again, Angela.

The private outdoor seating area and the fireflies at night made this place feel magical. There's a double bed, microwave, fridge and freezer, plus a shower with towels supplied. Continental breakfast is in the larder, along with fresh fruit and cheese. Please keep this sought after spot quiet, I don't want everyone finding it.

Angela was attentive without hovering, and the property was clean and comfortable. It's peaceful here, with several nature walks close by. We'd have no hesitation recommending it for either a short break or a longer stay.

We spent two nights in this cosy, comfortable bothy, with a great breakfast each morning. Our host made us feel very welcome, and we were impressed by the gardens. It's also well placed for visiting relatives in Arbroath.
