I only ate here, and the service was great. The chips were lovely, and the Smokie was really good too. I just don't understand why they serve such nice fish with frozen vegetables and don't season them at all. Add fresh veg, or even well seasoned frozen ones, and it would've been the best meal of the trip. I'm not that fussy about it.

The restaurant has lovely old character and the service was friendly and good. I had the smokie, which was certainly delicious, and my son had the highland chicken. We were both very pleased.

The atmosphere was friendly, there were lots of locals, and it's dog friendly. The service was quick, and the food was amazing. I can't say enough good things.

I had fish and chips at the restaurant recently and was disappointed. The fish was very small and thin, and tasted overcooked or as if it had been cooked in oil that was too hot. Nearly £18 felt like a waste of money. And £4.70 for a draught diet Coke? You're having a laugh. It's Arbroath, lol.

Right by the harbour, with a standard room that had tea and coffee facilities plus a small fridge. The restaurant was nice, and we'd be happy to come back.
