The setting above Loch Long was peaceful and lovely, and I really enjoyed the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs at breakfast. The room was clean, and the shower cubicle looked new, but it felt small, with tired old decor and furnishings. Compared with other B&Bs we’ve stayed in, I didn’t think it was particularly good value.

Sue and Dave were so welcoming, helpful, and full of useful information about the area. We had a clean, comfortable room and a lovely, quiet spot with fantastic views. Breakfast was great, especially the salmon. We’ll definitely be back.

We’ll stay here again on one of our trips to the Outer Hebrides. The breakfast to go was much appreciated when we had to get up early for the ferry, and the en-suite was very good. It’s a period property in a scenic setting, convenient for the far-flung Scottish islands and a good place to stop after a long journey. The room was comfortable.

Sue, thank you for a lovely stay. We had two double rooms and everything was first class, with really good food and full breakfasts we enjoyed. It’s ideally placed at the gateway to Skye, with lovely views. Recommended.

The homemade hot breakfast was delicious each morning, and we’d happily stay here again and recommend it to friends. The location is beautiful, with Eilean Donan Castle a two-mile walk away. It’s an older house, and one bathroom had limited water pressure. The rooms we stayed in had en-suites.
