Larry was a helpful, entertaining host, and the breakfast was decent. The shower was a little weak, but it was good value in a lovely house out in the countryside. There's an excellent pub about a 10-minute walk away.

The old character home on a quaint rural farm was a lovely quiet base, away from the busier towns and cities. It was clean, tidy and comfortable, and we took day trips around the local countryside. Five of us came from Canada and stayed for two nights in October 2024, using two rooms. Larry and his daughter looked after us wonderfully.

We had a lovely night here, and were even given a gift as we left. Larry and his daughter Ann made us feel at home. The house is beautiful and spotless, and breakfast was excellent, freshly prepared.

Larry and Ann really are the best. They paid attention to what we needed and seemed intent on going beyond expectations. We had a wonderful night and were so well looked after. Highly recommend.

Larry was the sort of host anyone would hope for. The gentleman from the family who owns this lovely piece of history shared colorful stories about the area and made us feel like family. We arrived late after a sporting event with food from a shop, since most places were closed. They invited us to eat in the beautiful dining room, brought tea and place settings, and offered even more. What a delightful experience, in a stunning home and setting. I really hope to return for a longer, more relaxed stay.
