The team at Callow Hall really made this stay. Nothing was too much trouble, and when a small mix-up with the invoice came up after we left, they sorted it out quickly and professionally. Thank you to everyone for making the trip so memorable. We'll definitely be back! We spent last week in one of the large dog-friendly treehouses. It was perfect, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped, with everything we needed, including a full kitchen. Treehouse guests can have breakfast and dinner at the restaurant in the main hotel, and both meals were outstanding, with locally sourced ingredients cooked to perfection.

We stayed in a Hive for my husband's birthday and arrived to lovely balloons and a card. The building and decor are beautiful, and everyone on the team was friendly and helpful. The 100 acre shower products were incredible, and the massages we had were excellent, though there's not much of a spa on site. The Hives are much smaller than they look in photos, very compact and cosy. If we stayed again, I'd personally book a room in Callow Hall. The buggy ride to the Hive isn't for the faint-hearted. I assume hot tubs are only included with the family-sized Hives, as they don't come with the standard ones. We hired Dutch bikes, but the brakes didn't have much stopping power, which was a little unnerving. Room service has a limited menu, but the chips were possibly the best I've ever eaten. We ordered them again for lunch in the restaurant and they were just as delicious. A shame that some of the restaurant's rattan chairs are a bit battered.

The countryside around us was stunning, and our treehouse was cosy with plenty of space. The decor was immaculate, the staff were lovely and we had a beautiful meal in the restaurant. The whole trip felt perfect from start to finish, and we're already looking at coming back!

We made a reservation for a special occasion, hoping for a nice meal, but the food didn't match the prices. The octopus starter was badly overcooked, like chewing rubber. The mains were nice, but still not the quality I'd expect at those prices. After these experiences, I wouldn't recommend it when there are better quality and service options locally. We're locals and have liked stopping in with family and friends for the beautiful view, but today may have been our last visit. An Americano is usually £3-3.50 in town, so I don't see how Callow Hall can justify £5 for one that was lukewarm at best. The prices are inflated and service is slow. While we were trying to pay so we could go home for a hot coffee, three servers passed us, and it took over three minutes for anyone to acknowledge us at the bar. The view can't make up for the service and quality at these prices. Save your money and go to one of the many coffee shops in town for better service, better quality and lower prices.

Dana, the events manager, helped plan everything perfectly, even helping me put on my shoes before I walked down the aisle. No request was too big or small, including asking the team to join our ceilidh dancing, which they did behind the bar. Jeremy and his team always seemed a step ahead, especially Laura, who had two glasses of water ready as soon as we came off the dance floor. The exclusive hire, the staff who went above and beyond for us and our guests, the incredible food and the stunning location made for the most magical wedding weekend we could have asked for. We couldn't have chosen a better venue or group of people to help us make such incredible memories.
