The staff were so kind with our grumpy, hungry toddler and brought her food out quickly, which made a real difference. We’d booked for the Easter Sunday roast and egg hunt, and couldn’t fault either the meal or the 10/10 service. The roast was one of the best we’ve had. Everyone was understanding and accommodating, and we’ll be back, maybe next time without the toddler 🤣

We sat down on the village green for our first visit to this country pub. The waitress was pleasant and easy to chat with. I had the mushroom, bacon and cheese starter, then cod loin. My husband went for baked stuffed mushrooms and a beefburger with chips. Everything was absolutely delicious, and we’ll definitely return.

We came across this lovely little pub while travelling in our camper, and they let us stay overnight in the car park. The garlic and chilli prawns I had were the best I’ve ever tasted, and the food was amazing. Staff were fantastic, bringing drinks to the table and checking whether we wanted more. It’s clearly run very well by a lovely couple. Thanks for having us, we’ll definitely be back.

We stopped overnight here in our motorhome on the way to Dover. There’s a field behind the pub as well as a village green out front, which was great for our dogs. The staff were really nice, and the food was okay. I especially liked the homemade coleslaw.

My wife had just finished a night shift at a nearby hospital when she got a flat tyre on her way home. The landlady kindly let her leave the car in the pub car park while she tried to sort it out. Seeing how upset she was after being up all night, the landlady also brought her a coffee and pastry. We’re very grateful for her kindness and compassion.
